Digital Humanities, application and theory of machine learning in the humanities, digital history, epistemology and theory of Digital Humanities, editing and archiving techniques, media and media theory (pre-modern and post-modern), history of record-keeping, digital teaching methods, pre-modern administration, auxiliary sciences of history.

2016 — PhD in History: “Schriftordnungen im Wandel. Produktions-, Gebrauchs- und Aufbewahrungspraktiken von klösterlichem Schriftgut in Königsfelden (1300–1600)”, University of Zurich. Supervised by Prof. Dr. Simon Teuscher (UZH) & Prof. Dr. Adam Kosto (Columbia University). Defended 11 November 2016 (summa cum laude). Published 2020.
